In 1995 we began providing  a specialised gas testing and hygiene monitoring service in relation to hazardous substances and dangerous goods.  We often work at the oil and gas refining level and along the down stream pathways where hydrocarbon based products are transported, stored, used or further processed – essentially anywhere that the HAZCHEM sign needs to be displayed.

Our work is often conducted in consultation with operators, safety officers, process and chemical engineers that seek not advice but people to actually carry out gas testing and monitoring in accordance with the requirements identified from an environmental; workplace safety; and occupational hygiene perspectives. Our trademark is a stamp of approval to other trades people such as welders, painters, and electricians (to name a few) that they can commence their work in confidence that there is breathable air and no explosive gases or fumes.

Whilst there are many people that have been trained to use a standard gas detector there are far fewer people that have received the training and supervised experience that allows them to correctly assess a situation that may require specialised gas testing or a specific type of occupational hygiene monitoring.

There are many aspects to our work and the tools we use are scientific instruments and devices that are calibrated, tested, and appropriately maintained.  We are industrial gas tester/occupational hygiene monitoring technicians.
